The mission of Project Graduation (Pro Grad) is to provide the William B. Travis High School Seniors a drug and alcohol free celebration to be held on the school campus following graduation ceremonies. The Project Graduation celebration is organized, funded and hosted by the Project Graduation Team, the volunteers on each committee and the THS community. Fundraising activities are held throughout the year. Parents, students and community members are strongly encouraged to become part of this wonderful event.
Pro Grad was originally started by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), with the purpose of providing a safe environment in an all night lock-in celebration for graduating seniors.
The ultimate goal for Project Graduation is to provide to the graduating class, the maximum amount of SAFE fun to the greatest number of attending seniors. Through this event, the graduating seniors have a safe and exciting way to celebrate and reflect upon their experiences at Travis High School.
Please plan to take an active role to help make this Pro Grad event a success filled with wonderful lasting memories for the Class of 2011.
